The funeral of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was held on Saturday at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi, with full state honors. The ceremony saw the presence of several prominent political figures, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who paid tribute to the late leader.
President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, among others, offered their last respects to Singh.
In addition to Indian leaders, foreign dignitaries, including Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, also attended the ceremony.

Earlier in the day, Singh’s mortal remains were brought to the AICC headquarters for Congress leaders and workers to pay their respects before being taken to Nigambodh Ghat for the final rites.
Manmohan Singh, 92, passed away on Thursday evening after being admitted to AIIMS Delhi due to severe health complications. Despite undergoing treatment, he succumbed to his illness.
The central government organized the official funeral, and people across the nation are mourning his loss, recalling his significant contributions as Finance Minister and Prime Minister.
