Telangana Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy met with Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, today in Hyderabad. The meeting, attended by Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and Dudilla Sridhar Babu, was held at Nadella’s residence.
During the discussion, Nadella expressed Microsoft’s continued commitment to supporting Telangana in various initiatives. He praised the state’s leadership in driving skill development and enhancing infrastructure to meet future needs, noting that these efforts would contribute significantly to the state’s economic growth.

Support for Telangana’s Technological Ambitions
Nadella commended the Telangana government’s focus on establishing Hyderabad as a leading global tech hub. He offered Microsoft’s support for initiatives involving Artificial Intelligence (AI), Gen AI, and cloud-based technologies, which align with the state’s vision for technological advancement.
Microsoft’s Investments in Telangana
CM Revanth Reddy highlighted Microsoft’s longstanding presence in Hyderabad, where it employs over 10,000 people. He also mentioned Microsoft’s significant investment in the state’s 600 MW data center. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Nadella for expanding Microsoft’s investments in Telangana.

Key State Initiatives
The meeting also focused on Telangana’s ongoing infrastructure projects, including the development of regional ring roads, new manufacturing clusters, and future cities. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s efforts to provide a skilled workforce through institutions like the Young India Skill University.
The meeting was attended by State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries Jayesh Ranjan, and the Chief Minister’s Special Secretary Ajith Reddy.
