Hyderabad: Minister Konda Surekha has made sensational allegations, accusing RS Praveen Kumar, the former official in charge of Gurukuls, of being responsible for the food poisoning incidents in these institutions. She stated that the food poisoning incidents occurred under Praveen Kumar’s supervision and that the RSPS played a role in spreading false propaganda about these incidents. Surekha assured that the government would conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, promising to take legal action against the culprits soon.
She also made a strong statement regarding the future of the Congress party in the state, declaring that no matter what conspiracies are plotted, Revanth Reddy’s leadership would continue for the next five years. She added that if the people continue to support them, Congress would rule for another decade. She also accused KTR of sidelining his family members, Kavitha and Harish Rao, in the battle for positions within the KCR family, criticizing internal conflicts in the ruling party. Surekha went on to claim that both KCR and KTR could face arrests in the near future.
Food Poisoning Incidents Fuel Political Tensions
The recent spate of food poisoning incidents in government schools and hostels has raised the political temperature in the state, with Congress and BRS leaders exchanging sharp words. Congress leader Bandaru Shobharani also accused BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar of orchestrating the food poisoning incidents in Gurukuls. Speaking to the media, she claimed that the conspiracies were happening under the watch of KTR and Praveen Kumar. Shobharani alleged that RS Praveen Kumar was using his network to create problems in Gurukuls. She called for a thorough investigation into the incidents by CM Revanth Reddy, emphasizing that if the truth was not revealed, innocent students could become victims of these conspiracies.
