Siddipet: Two bikers and DCM driver killed in head-on crash

A severe accident occurred near Sofa Junction in Rayapolu Mandal, Siddipet District, when a DCM vehicle lost control and collided with a motorcycle. The incident resulted in the immediate deaths of two individuals on the bike. Additionally, the driver of the DCM vehicle, who was severely injured, also succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital.

The deceased individuals have been identified as Vamsi (19) and Naveen (20), both residents of Machinapalli. They were en route to Gajwel district headquarters for work when their motorcycle was struck by the DCM vehicle, which was traveling towards Chegunta in Medak District. The DCM vehicle subsequently collided with a lorry coming from the opposite direction and overturned.

Vamsi and Naveen were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the DCM vehicle, identified as Rakesh, sustained critical injuries and died en route to Gajwel Hospital. The bodies have been transferred to a government hospital for post-mortem. The police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
