Actor and Jana Sena leader Nagababu has expressed his commendation for Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s proactive measures in response to the recent heavy rains and ensuing flood crisis. In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nagababu praised Reddy’s focus on addressing illegal encroachments on lakes and nullahs, which have exacerbated the flooding situation.
Nagababu remarked, “The recent downpours have led to severe flooding, with lakes and Nalas overflowing and affecting residential areas. It is deeply distressing that some lives have been lost. The primary cause of this disaster is the illegal encroachment and construction on these water bodies. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Hydra initiative is crucial in this context. Protecting our environment is imperative as it ensures our own safety. Conversely, environmental damage leads to severe consequences. I fully support the Chief Minister’s efforts to tackle these issues,” he stated.
