The meeting of Chief Ministers from Telugu states concluded after a comprehensive two-hour session, primarily focusing on unresolved issues stemming from their state partition. It was decided during the meeting to establish two committees—one comprising ministers and the other comprising officials from both states—to address these longstanding concerns.

Among the key deliberations were the proposed return of five villages to Telangana from the seven mandals previously merged into Andhra Pradesh. Discussions also included contentious issues like property allocation in Hyderabad, where reported disagreements arose between the Andhra Pradesh government’s requests and the stance of the Revanth Reddy-led administration.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Ministers Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, CS Shanti Kumari, and others, actively participated in the meeting. The agenda covered critical topics such as the distribution of assets specified in Schedules 9 and 10 of the State Reorganisation Act, pending electricity payments, management of foreign loan-backed projects, allocation of expenses from joint ventures, Andhra Pradesh Financial Corporation issues, and the division of employees.
