PM Modi Travels on Inaugural Ride of Metro Line 3 in Mumbai

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mumbai, Maharashtra, and inaugurated Metro Line 3. During the event, Modi traveled on the metro from the BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex) to the Shantacruz station, interacting with beneficiaries of the Ladki Bahan scheme and workers. Photos from the event have gone viral on social media.

Modi also launched the Metro Connect 3 app. He was accompanied by state Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. The metro line will feature a total of ten stations between BKC and Aarey.

This route connects several important locations, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Sahar Road.
