Shamshabad: Hydra officials have taken strong action against illegal constructions in Shamshabad, demolishing structures that were built without necessary permits. Complaints were lodged recently regarding encroachments in Southern Paradise (Sri Sampath Nagar), where a 998-square-yard park was allegedly seized. Another complaint was received concerning the occupation of a 33-foot road and the construction of a watchtower in the Utpally village’s K-Town-2 colony.

Upon receiving these complaints, Hydra officials initiated an investigation, confirming the presence of illegal encroachments. Following this, the authorities took immediate action on Monday, demolishing the unauthorized constructions. The park’s fencing and a shed were removed, and the illegally built watchtower was also dismantled.
Hydra officials issued a warning, stating that serious consequences would follow for anyone found occupying government land or engaging in construction activities without approval.
