Amudalavalasa MLA Kuna Ravikumar returns government-given gunmen

Amaravati: TDP MLA Kuna Ravikumar has taken a notable step by returning the gunmen assigned to him, expressing dissatisfaction over not being appointed to a ministerial position. Known as a prominent leader from North Andhra Pradesh, Ravikumar recently won re-election but did not secure a cabinet berth in the current administration.

The decision to send back his security detail underscores his disappointment with the party leadership, reflecting broader discontent among leaders from Uttarandhra over the issue. Specifically, there is discontent within the Kalinga community, of which Ravikumar is a representative, regarding the lack of ministerial representation.

While other leaders from the region have not publicly addressed the matter, Ravikumar’s action signals a proactive response to his perceived neglect within the party.
