BRS leader and former minister Harish Rao has expressed his approval of the interim order issued by the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal concerning the allocation of Krishna river waters under Section 3 of the 1956 Interstate Water Disputes Act. Harish Rao highlighted that this order is a direct outcome of the relentless efforts put forth by KCR over the past decade, calling it a significant victory for the Telangana government.
Rao emphasized that the tribunal’s decision to allocate water on a state-wise basis, rather than by individual projects, aligns with KCR’s long-standing stance. He described this development as a triumph for the state and credited it to the consistent efforts of the KCR-led government.

Kavitha described this as a victory for the BRS party and the people of Telangana. Additionally, she expressed hope that justice would be served in the ongoing deliberations on river water distribution.
However, she criticized the Congress party’s attempt to claim credit for the success, particularly Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy’s comments. Kavitha labeled this as an attempt by Congress to undermine KCR’s efforts and emphasized that the victory belongs to KCR and the people of Telangana.
