The Telangana government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has announced a major decision benefiting employees working in government-owned corporations, institutions, and universities. In line with benefits provided to state government employees and pensioners, the government has decided to grant these public sector employees an Interim Relief (IR). A 5% IR, based on their basic salary, has been approved. An official notification has been issued regarding the implementation of this decision, which is expected to significantly increase the employees’ salaries. The announcement has been met with widespread approval and joy from the affected employees.
