Medak MP Raghunandan Rao issued pointed criticism of Telangana former Minister KTR, suggesting that if KTR wishes to leave politics, “no one would object.” In a media interaction, Rao expressed that despite holding office for a decade, KTR has failed to connect with the people meaningfully. He alleged that KTR’s political engagement is motivated by personal gain, stating, “KTR didn’t enter politics for the people—he came for money, power, and the farmhouse.” He further quipped that KTR could consider “moving to America to clean bathrooms.”
Rao also raised concerns about KCR’s extended stay at his farmhouse, implying that KTR’s recent political activities may be unnecessary. He questioned how the public could tolerate KTR’s governance for ten years if ten months have already caused discontent.
Calls for Transparency in Farmhouse Case
Demanding accountability, Rao urged the release of CCTV footage from KTR’s farmhouse to provide clarity on the recent controversies. He also criticized a statement from Korutla MLA regarding women’s behavior in Telangana, questioning its validity. Concluding with a jab, he noted that “Diwali firecrackers were heard in the markets, but not even a minor noise followed the claims of Ponguleti.”
