Hyderabad: In a move aimed at encouraging property ownership among women, the Telangana government is set to introduce the new Stamp Amendment Bill 2025 soon. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that the revised bill would be implemented without burdening the middle class, aligning property rates with current market values.
The state government has asked Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy to prepare necessary proposals to revise land prices accordingly. As part of this initiative, the government is also considering a reduction in stamp duty for women buyers during property registrations.
