Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed strong discontent towards those questioning the ongoing Hydra project during a speech at the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra memorial event near Charminar on Saturday.
Revanth took aim at BRS leaders, particularly targeting Harish Rao, questioning the existence of a farmhouse in Aziz Nagar and highlighting that Rao was appointed as a minister due to the Congress party’s influence in the past. He further criticized the KCR family, alleging a history of corruption.
During his address, Revanth assured real estate companies that they should not be fearful, promising his support amidst claims of conspiracies aimed at undermining the state’s financial resources. He emphasized that Hydra would proceed without interruption, stating, “Illegal occupants will not be spared.”
He also expressed frustration over the reaction of BRS leaders, stating that whenever Hydra is mentioned, Harish and KTR appear and cannot tolerate the benefits being provided to the poor. The Chief Minister noted that financial assistance had been offered to women to help them start businesses, and housing had been provided to those living in poverty along the Musi River.

Revanth questioned whether KTR had built a farmhouse by encroaching on the Gulkhapur canal and criticized claims that a bulldozer was set to clear the area as mere theatrics. He clarified that the revitalization of the Musi River is separate from the Hydra project and stressed that there had been no demolitions related to Hydra in the area.
He further commented on the urgency of BRS leaders, suggesting it was merely an effort to protect their assets. Revanth challenged them to invite him to their farmhouses and urged Harish Rao to clarify when such a visit would occur. He proposed organizing an all-party meeting to address the issues surrounding the farmhouses of Harish and KTR, advocating for a fact-finding committee to establish the truth.
