The hearing for the custody petition of choreographer Johnny Master, who faces allegations of rape, has been postponed to Tuesday. The Narsingi police have requested a five-day custody to further investigate the case, which has been filed under the POCSO Act in the Ranga Reddy District Court.
In a related development, the court has also delayed the hearing on Johnny Master’s bail petition to Wednesday.
The case against Johnny Master stems from a complaint filed by an assistant female choreographer, who alleged that he assaulted her. Following this complaint, the police arrested Johnny Master and registered a case under the POCSO Act. He was presented at the Uppalapalli Court, where the judge ordered a 14-day remand. With the case classified under POCSO, the police are now pursuing the custody petition in the Ranga Reddy District Court.
