yderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to launch the distribution of new ration cards across the state on Monday, marking the first issuance in 11 years. The official rollout will begin from Tirumalagiri in the Tungaturthi Assembly constituency of Suryapet district, where the Chief Minister will hand over ration cards to 11 selected beneficiaries at a public event organized near the local Tahsildar’s office.
Following the distribution, the Chief Minister will address a public gathering, with arrangements made to accommodate a crowd of approximately 80,000 people. The programme is being overseen by Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Nalgonda district in-charge Minister Adluri Laxman, MP Kiran Kumar Reddy, and MLA Saameer. As part of the initiative, officials will distribute new ration cards to a total of 3.58 lakh eligible beneficiaries across Telangana, fulfilling a long-pending demand.
