Hyderabad: Leaders of the BRS party have raised serious allegations against Megha Company, accusing it of engaging in corruption and illegal activities. They have demanded that the Congress government take immediate action by banning the company and blacklisting it. The party also called for investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the company’s operations.

The demand was made by former Corporation Chairman and BRS leader Errolla Srinivas, along with former BC Commission member Shub Prad Patel and other senior party leaders. They criticized the Congress government’s apparent lack of action regarding deals allegedly made by Revanth Reddy with Megha Krishna Reddy, including claims of an arrangement at Davos, and questioned the legitimacy of a wellness center in Vikarabad.
The BRS leaders further accused Revanth Reddy of striking bogus deals with Megha Engineering when he was in the opposition, even going so far as to label Megha Krishna Reddy as a thief. They also questioned the Congress government’s reversal of stance, with Megha Engineering now seemingly receiving favorable treatment.
The allegations extended to projects such as the Kaleshwaram project, where Megha Company is accused of corruption. The BRS leaders also raised concerns over Megha Krishna Reddy’s alleged donation of Rs. 200 crore to a Skill University, calling the situation a quid pro quo between Revanth Reddy and the Megha Group.

In their call for transparency, the BRS leaders demanded the release of a white paper detailing the projects awarded to Megha Company and questioned the approval of projects like the Kodangal Lift Irrigation scheme. They concluded their statements with a demand for immediate action to be taken against Megha Company, including its blacklisting, to ensure accountability for alleged irregularities.
