Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has condemned the attack on actor Allu Arjun’s residence by members of the OU JAC on Sunday. Taking to social media platform X, the CM stated, “I strongly condemn the attacks on the homes of film personalities. I have directed the state DGP and the city police commissioner to take stringent measures to maintain law and order. Any negligence in this matter will not be tolerated.”

The incident occurred when a group of OU JAC leaders gathered outside Allu Arjun’s residence and attempted to forcibly enter the premises. Security personnel intervened, leading to a scuffle. The protesters accused the actor of being responsible for the death of a woman named Revathi and demanded an apology to her family along with a compensation of Rs 1 crore. Police arrived promptly, bringing the situation under control and detaining those involved.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also commented on the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre on Saturday, attributing it to the actor’s actions. “The incident could have been avoided if he had watched the movie quietly and left. Instead, the roadshow he conducted with an open car rooftop caused the stampede,” CM Revanth Reddy said.

The stampede claimed the life of Revathi and left her son critically injured. The Chief Minister expressed his disappointment, stating, “Neither Allu Arjun nor any film personality visited Revathi’s family, who suffered such a tragic loss.”
In response to the allegations, Allu Arjun addressed the media on Saturday night, denying the Chief Minister’s claims and refuting his accusations.
