Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has stated that the tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theater was caused by actor Allu Arjun. He emphasized that if the actor had not attended, the stampede would not have occurred, and the family of Revathi, who lost her life, would not have suffered. He further warned that no one would be spared, and legal action would be taken against those responsible.

Reckless Actions Due to the Road Show
Speaking on the issue, Revanth Reddy criticized Allu Arjun for his irresponsible behavior during the Sandhya Theater stampede. He claimed that the actor’s roadshow attracted a massive crowd to the theater, despite the police advising against it. “Did Allu Arjun even consider the consequences of his actions? What kind of person behaves like this? Are there people like him in this world?” Reddy asked, expressing his outrage. He also mentioned that Allu Arjun remained in the theater until the DCP had to force him into his car.

Criticism of the Actor’s Response
Revanth Reddy also took issue with Allu Arjun’s failure to address the situation and the victims’ families. “When two people died before the movie started, Allu Arjun went on to watch the entire film without acknowledging the tragedy,” he said. The Chief Minister condemned the actor for ignoring the police’s request for him to leave and failing to visit the bereaved family.

He also criticized Allu Arjun for not visiting the grieving family of Revathi. “Despite spending ₹12,000 for movie tickets, the family did not receive even a word of sympathy from the actor,” he pointed out.

Police Action and Response
Revanth Reddy confirmed that the police had registered cases against both Allu Arjun and the theater management. He explained that the situation was made worse by the single entry and exit point of the theater. When the actor arrived with a road show, the crowd quickly gathered, resulting in a stampede. “Despite being advised to leave, Allu Arjun continued his actions, causing even more harm,” Reddy said.

Public Safety and Accountability
The Chief Minister also expressed frustration with those defending Allu Arjun, especially political leaders who criticized the police’s actions. He urged them to stop politicizing the tragedy. “This government supports the film industry, but we cannot compromise on public safety. No one is above the law, and we will hold anyone accountable who endangers people’s lives,” Revanth Reddy said.

Revanth Reddy further warned against any more “dangerous spectacles” and stated, “Our government operates within the framework of the Constitution, and as long as we are in power, we will not allow such reckless behavior to continue.”
