The tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Cross Roads, during the premiere of Pushpa 2, which led to the death of Revathi, has caused widespread outrage across the Telugu states. Her son, Sritej, who sustained critical injuries in the incident, has been battling for his life in the hospital for the past 11 days.
Amid growing concerns over Sritej’s health, actor Allu Arjun addressed the situation on social media. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed his worry, stating, “I am deeply concerned about Sritej. I wish to meet him and his family. However, with the legal investigation ongoing, I am currently unable to visit them. I stand by my commitment to support the family and pray for Sritej’s speedy recovery. I will meet them as soon as possible.”

Earlier, Allu Arjun announced financial assistance of ₹25 lakh to the victim’s family. He also pledged to cover Sritej’s medical expenses and assured continued support to the family during this challenging time.
The incident has drawn significant attention, with calls for stricter safety measures at public events to prevent such tragedies in the future.
