Mulugu: A sense of fear and uncertainty has gripped the residents of Jungalapalli village in Mulugu district, Telangana, following a series of unexplained deaths. In just two months, nearly 50 people, primarily aged between 30 and 50, have passed away, prompting villagers to fear the presence of a curse or spirit.
The deaths have occurred in quick succession, with reports indicating that all the deceased suffered from high fever before their untimely demise. Despite seeking treatment at major hospitals, the victims could not be saved. Villagers are now increasingly concerned that the deaths are linked to a supernatural force, with many attributing the incidents to the influence of a spirit.
In an attempt to address the growing fear, the residents have decided to perform special prayers to appease the local deities, hoping to rid the village of the alleged curse. Meanwhile, some villagers, particularly those with higher education, have chosen to leave the village, fearing further fatalities.
The situation has escalated as villagers report one death every few days. Frustration is mounting among the community, as they accuse the local government of neglect. Despite the loss of almost 50 lives, Minister Sitaakka has not visited the village. Villagers are now calling for a health camp to be organized, requesting blood sample collections to identify the cause of the mysterious fevers and deaths.
The ongoing crisis has left the village in turmoil, with residents urging the government to step in and provide answers.
