Former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review meeting with party leaders concerning the severe flooding in the Krishna River that has impacted Vijayawada. The meeting, held at the party’s central office, included senior party officials and representatives from NTR District.
During the session, Jagan announced that the party would allocate one crore rupee to aid the flood victims. He indicated that the specifics of how and in what form the assistance would be provided would be determined following further discussions with party leaders.
Leaders at the meeting reported to Jagan that the government had not implemented any substantial relief efforts in the affected areas. They expressed concern over the dire conditions faced by thousands, who were struggling to secure basic necessities such as food and clean drinking water.
