The Power Commission has issued fresh notices to former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao regarding the ongoing power purchase inquiry. According to the sources, KCR has been instructed to submit his response to the commission’s inquiries by June 27. Specifically, the commission has requested details concerning the construction of the Yadadri and Bhadradri power plants, in line with directives from Justice Narasimha Reddy.
This development follows a previous letter from the commission to KCR on June 19, seeking clarification on power procurement from Chhattisgarh. With the latest communication sent on Tuesday, the commission has reiterated its deadline for KCR to provide comprehensive information by June 27th.
