Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy made strong and controversial remarks during his visit to Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, launching a sharp attack on BRS leader Jeevan Reddy. He alleged that Jeevan Reddy joined the BRS out of frustration after being denied a ministerial post and accused him of prioritising personal ambitions over party loyalty. The Chief Minister also criticised Jeevan Reddy’s reaction to Adluri Laxman being given a ministerial position, claiming he was unable to accept the development.

Revanth Reddy stated that Jeevan Reddy had been part of a 40-year-old political journey but had now abandoned it for selfish reasons. He further remarked that leaders who could not secure positions were now wishing for the downfall of the “people’s government,” questioning such intent. He also took a swipe at Jeevan Reddy’s past electoral defeat in Jagityal, stating that despite losing, he was treated with respect by the Congress leadership.

The Chief Minister also launched a scathing attack on the BRS, alleging large-scale corruption and mismanagement during its decade-long rule. He claimed that public projects were renamed and manipulated for financial irregularities and asserted that the party had lost public trust across the state. He declared that the BRS would face a complete political setback in the coming elections, particularly in regions like Jagityal.

Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the Congress party would remain in power in Telangana until 2034. He further challenged the opposition, stating that efforts to destabilise the government would fail and reiterated that the current administration was focused on public welfare and development.
