New Delhi: Tensions between India and Pakistan have reached a critical point, with fresh hostilities unfolding along multiple border regions. On Thursday night, Pakistan reportedly launched coordinated attacks using drones, missiles, and fighter jets targeting areas along the borders of Jammu, Rajasthan, and Punjab. The Indian Armed Forces responded swiftly, successfully intercepting and neutralizing the aerial threats.
In a retaliatory move, India is said to have carried out precision strikes on multiple locations inside Pakistan, including the city of Lahore. The Defence Ministry has confirmed that “Operation Sindoora” remains ongoing, signaling that further action cannot be ruled out.

The situation has triggered a wave of unrest in Pakistan’s political circles. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is facing sharp criticism from opposition leaders, who accuse him of weak leadership amid the crisis. A Member of Parliament in Pakistan’s National Assembly went as far as to call Sharif a coward during Thursday’s session.
Quoting Tipu Sultan, the MP remarked, “When a group is led by a tiger, even cowards will fight like tigers. But when a coward leads a group of tigers, even the tigers will behave like cowards.” The statement underscores mounting frustration within Pakistan’s legislature over the government’s response to India’s military action.
As both countries continue military operations and public sentiment hardens on either side of the border, the international community is closely monitoring the escalating conflict.
