TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud has strongly criticized BRS Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), claiming that the party is facing difficulty in finding candidates for the upcoming local body elections. Goud accused KCR of making unrealistic statements from his farmhouse, while the party struggles to secure the necessary candidates. He stated that the public no longer desires “farmhouse governance” and instead seeks a people-centered administration, pointing out the desire for “Indiramma Rajyam” (Indira Gandhi’s governance style).

Goud further alleged that KCR’s frustration stems from the fact that Congress has managed to achieve more progress in just one year compared to KCR’s decade-long rule. He emphasized that the BRS Chief has failed to adapt to changing circumstances, especially after the 2023 assembly elections and the ongoing controversy surrounding his daughter K. Kavitha’s involvement in the Delhi liquor scam.
The TPCC President also raised concerns about the BRS government’s financial mismanagement, criticizing KCR for excessive borrowing that has left the state’s treasury in a precarious situation. He highlighted Congress’s achievements, including the recruitment of over 50,000 employees during its one-year governance, as a stark contrast to the BRS’s failure to address key issues such as the ration card shortages affecting the poor.

Goud concluded by asserting that the increasing success of Congress and the growing discontent with the BRS will lead to a challenging future for KCR’s party in the upcoming local elections, warning that the BRS would suffer another defeat unless significant changes are made in its leadership and approach.
