Karimnagar BJP MP and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay received significant relief from the Telangana High Court after it dismissed a case filed against him. The case was registered based on allegations that his remarks during the GHMC elections incited religious hatred. Following a complaint, the police filed an FIR. Bandi Sanjay challenged the case in the High Court, arguing that there was no substantial evidence against him. After reviewing the arguments, the court ruled in his favor and quashed the case.

High Court Dismisses Case Against CM Revanth Reddy
The Telangana High Court also dismissed a case filed against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The case, registered in March 2020 in Narsingi, was based on allegations related to drone surveillance in Janwada. At the time, Revanth Reddy was remanded in connection with the case. Challenging the FIR, he filed a petition in the High Court, contending that Janwada was not a restricted area and that the case was based on incorrect legal provisions. After hearing the arguments, the court quashed the case.

Legal Relief for KTR
The High Court further dismissed a case against former minister and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). The case was registered at the Saifabad police station following a complaint by MP Anil Kumar Yadav, who alleged that KTR had made derogatory remarks against CM Revanth Reddy. While the prosecution argued that the comments were defamatory, KTR’s legal team maintained that the case was politically motivated. After reviewing the submissions, the court ruled in favor of KTR and dismissed the case.
