Hyderabad: The Telangana government has begun depositing funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme into the accounts of farmers. In the first phase, Rs. 6,000 per acre is being credited to farmers in one village in each mandal. On Monday, the government deposited funds into the accounts of 4,41,911 farmers. A total of Rs. 530 crore has been released for 9,48,333 acres across 577 mandals.

Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao confirmed that all eligible farmers will receive the assistance. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had launched the Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Houses, and Indiramma Athemeeya Bharosa schemes on January 26 in Narayanpet district.

Farmers can check the credited amounts through SMS notifications linked to their Aadhaar and mobile numbers. Additionally, they can verify the deposits by obtaining bank statements or checking their accounts via UPI payments on their mobile phones.
