The Telangana government, under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has issued a government order (GO) allocating RTC rental buses to women’s associations. In the first phase, 150 RTC rental buses have been sanctioned for 150 Mandal Federations, with an additional 450 buses to be allocated in the subsequent phase. The RTC will pay a monthly rental of Rs 77,220 per bus.
Government to Provide Bank Guarantee for Bus Purchases
To facilitate the purchase of these buses, the government will extend a bank guarantee to women’s associations. Officials state that this initiative is the first of its kind in the country, aimed at promoting self-reliance among women’s groups through RTC services.

Formal Inauguration at Parade Ground
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Ministers Seethakka and Ponnam Prabhakar, will inaugurate 50 buses at Parade Ground. Minister Seethakka described the initiative as a significant step towards women’s empowerment and expressed gratitude to CM Revanth Reddy for implementing the scheme.
