Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has approved the draft bill for SC categorization, instructing officials to refine it to prevent any legal hurdles.
The Cabinet also deliberated on the upcoming Assembly budget session, scheduled to commence on March 12, with expectations of significant announcements regarding BC reservations.

Key infrastructure and policy decisions were taken, including progress on Metro Rail Phase 2, the Regional Ring Road, and the Musi River rejuvenation project. Additionally, the government is set to establish the Future City Development Authority and Yadadri Temple Board, alongside proposed amendments to the HMDA Act.
Discussions also covered the implementation of the Bhu Bharati Act, amendments to the Mining Act, and reforms related to the Land Regularization Scheme (LRS). Ministers are expected to formally announce the Cabinet’s decisions soon.
