In a disturbing development, cases of sexual assault are on the rise across the state. In a recent incident, a young woman, employed as a software engineer, was gang-raped by two men in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
The victim, who works near RC Puram, boarded an auto at around 2:30 AM. Upon reaching the Masjid Banda area, the auto driver and another individual attacked and assaulted her. Taking advantage of the deserted surroundings, the men committed the crime and then fled the scene, leaving the victim behind.
The woman promptly reported the incident at Gachibowli police station, where authorities have registered a case. Police are actively searching for the two suspects.
