The Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Sunday concluded its inquiry of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in connection with the phone tapping case. A team of six officials questioned him for nearly five hours at his Nandinagar residence. During the interrogation, KCR reportedly presented supporting evidence in response to the queries, following which his statement was officially recorded. The SIT later left the premises after completing the procedure.

Following the inquiry, KCR held a meeting with senior party leaders K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), Harish Rao, and R.S. Praveen Kumar to review the developments. Party sources said discussions focused on the ongoing investigation and the political situation in the state.

KCR is expected to stay at his Nandinagar residence for the next two days and will shortly convene meetings with key leaders. He is likely to outline strategies for the upcoming municipal elections and guide party cadres on highlighting what the party alleges are the government’s vindictive actions before the public.
