Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, marking one year in office, is reportedly preparing to make significant decisions regarding his cabinet. Discussions indicate that he has decided to remove three ministers from the cabinet, following concerns over their performance and lack of coordination with district MLAs. Speculation suggests that these ministers failed to effectively manage their portfolios, leading to the decision for action against them.

Sources close to the Chief Minister reveal that some ministers have been interfering in unrelated matters, which has caused damage to the government’s reputation. Despite repeated warnings, their conduct has not improved, prompting Revanth Reddy to move forward with the reshuffle. The Chief Minister has also reportedly discussed the matter with the high command.
Among those expected to be removed are Konda Surekha, representing the united Warangal district, and Jupally Krishna Rao, from the united Mahbubnagar district. Additionally, Revanth Reddy is said to be considering the removal of a third minister, although their identity has not yet been disclosed, leading to speculation within Congress about who will be next.
Konda Surekha Faces Scrutiny Over Controversial Remarks and Actions
Minister Konda Surekha has been at the center of several controversies in recent months. Her remarks about actor Nagarjuna’s family while criticizing KTR sparked public backlash, which became a point of contention for the government. Furthermore, she has been accused of hindering the work of Parakala MLA Revooru Prakash Reddy and faced criticism for her visit to a police station to issue a warning, an act that sparked further controversy.
Despite multiple warnings, Surekha’s behavior has reportedly remained unchanged, leading to the decision to remove her from the cabinet.

Srihari Likely to Replace Jupally Krishna Rao
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is also said to be dissatisfied with Jupally Krishna Rao’s performance, citing his inability to meet expectations and failure to work in harmony with district MLAs. There is growing speculation within Congress that Srihari, from the same district, may replace Jupally Krishna Rao in the cabinet.
