Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met Chief Minister Chandrababu at the Secretariat following the Cabinet meeting. Discussions reportedly focused on the ministerial portfolio for MLC Nagababu, along with key issues related to the resumption of Amaravati capital works and inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for state initiatives.

Swarna Andhra Vision 2047: Economic Roadmap
Addressing the Assembly during a discussion on the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 document, CM Chandrababu emphasized the goal of achieving a $30 trillion GDP for India by 2047. He reiterated that the implementation of the Constituency Vision Document is the responsibility of MLAs, assuring them of the government’s full support. The Chief Minister outlined a roadmap for Andhra Pradesh to achieve a per capita income of Rs 55 lakh and a $2.4 trillion economy by 2047, while also commending Prime Minister Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 initiative.
Allegations of Corruption in Employment Schemes
Speaking at the meeting, Pawan Kalyan alleged corruption in employment guarantee schemes during the YSRCP regime. He stated that officials had identified irregularities amounting to Rs 250 crore, and an investigation is underway. He also clarified that wage hikes for employment guarantee workers fall under the central government’s jurisdiction.
