The committee has officially revoked the National Film Award for Best Choreography awarded to choreographer Jani Master. This decision comes in light of the registration of a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case against him.
Jani Basha was selected for the prestigious award for the year 2022 and was scheduled to receive the honor on October 8. He had even secured interim bail to attend the award function in New Delhi. However, the need for such arrangements has been rendered unnecessary following the cancellation of the award.
