Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again targeted the Congress government, accusing it of neglecting the Banjara and marginalized communities. Speaking at an election rally in Vidarbha, Maharashtra, on Saturday, he claimed that making false promises of loan waivers during elections has become a habit for Congress. He pointed out that in Telangana, the Congress came to power by promising to waive farmers’ loans.
Modi criticized the Congress for failing to fulfill its loan waiver promises even after being in power for so long. He stated that farmers in Telangana are now questioning the Congress government about the promised loan waivers. Modi accused the Congress of disrespecting farmers and ignoring their needs. He also alleged that the party has ties to the drug trade.
Modi expressed his outrage, accusing the Congress of using money from drug-related activities to fund its election campaigns. He claimed that the party is pushing the youth toward substance abuse and using the proceeds to finance its political ambitions. He further alleged that the Congress is closely associated with anti-national elements. Modi urged the people of Maharashtra to unite and defeat the dangerous agenda of the Congress party, ahead of the expected assembly elections in November.
