Telangana Minister Konda Surekha held the previous rulers responsible for the financial crisis the state is currently facing, attributing it to the destruction they caused during their tenure. However, she emphasized that the state’s development is progressing without any setbacks under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
On Sunday, CM Revanth Reddy toured the Station Ghanpur constituency in Warangal district and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹800 crore. As part of the event, RTC buses were distributed to women’s self-help groups under the Mahila Shakti scheme.

Support for Revanth Reddy
Addressing the gathering, Minister Konda Surekha expressed her support for CM Revanth Reddy, stating that he is relentlessly working for the welfare of Telangana, especially for the people of Warangal. She extended her gratitude to the CM for treating Warangal as his own and assured complete backing from her and other leaders.
She also praised her fellow minister Seethakka for implementing various initiatives aimed at women’s empowerment and expressed satisfaction over Warangal being developed as the second capital of Telangana.
Call for Tourism Development
Highlighting the tourism potential in Warangal, Konda Surekha urged CM Revanth Reddy to transform the region into a major tourist destination. She reminded that Warangal is the land of legendary women rulers like Rani Rudrama Devi and Sammakka-Sarakka. However, she raised concerns over the lack of cooperation from the archaeology department and requested the CM’s intervention.

Konda Surekha expressed confidence that Warangal would witness remarkable progress under Revanth Reddy’s leadership. She also mentioned that the promises made by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are being fulfilled, with projects like an airport and a textile park set to be established in the region.
The minister assured that all leaders would stand firmly with CM Revanth Reddy in the state’s development journey.
