Authorities stated that the fire spread rapidly due to the tightly packed huts and temporary structures in the area. The blaze was classified as a “medium-category” fire, and a total of 29 fire tenders were deployed to douse the flames. Eyewitnesses said the fire intensified after multiple LPG cylinders exploded, creating panic among residents. Thick plumes of smoke filled the area as locals ran to save their belongings.
Preliminary reports suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit or a gas leak, though officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact reason. No casualties have been reported so far, but property loss is said to be extensive. The injured child is currently receiving medical care, and authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage caused by the incident.
