Hyderabad: Madhu Yashki Gowd, a senior political leader, has strongly criticized the BJP for leveraging caste and religion to divide the nation. He referred to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks during the Jaipur plenary meeting, where he openly spoke about his caste and religion. Gowd questioned BJP leader Bandi Sanjay’s comments regarding Rahul Gandhi’s caste, pointing out that as a holder of a constitutional position, such remarks were inappropriate.

Gowd further stated that individuals like Bandi Sanjay, who challenge the sanctity of the Constitution, are unfit to hold ministerial positions. He also reminded that during the leadership of Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi, religious institutions such as temples, churches, and mosques were never used for political purposes, contrasting this with the current BJP’s approach to politics.
