In the aftermath of the Maharashtra elections, former BRS Minister KTR has responded to the results, launching a scathing attack on Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana. KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy had misused Rs. 300 crore from the Telangana public to spread false propaganda, which he claimed was rejected by the people. He pointed out that while the Congress party promised Rs. 3,000 to the people of Maharashtra, the Telangana government had failed to provide Rs. 2,500 to the 1.6 crore women in the state.
KTR also criticized Revanth for misleading the people of Maharashtra by claiming that Telangana promises were implemented, a claim that KTR asserted was rightfully dismissed by the electorate.
KTR Advises Revanth to Focus on Fulfillment of Promises
KTR urged Revanth Reddy to shift his focus from falsehoods and concentrate on fulfilling the promises made to the people of Telangana. He asserted that the Congress party would weaken further following the election results and criticized both BJP and Congress for lacking the strength to form independent governments across the country. KTR predicted that coalition politics would continue in the country after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
KTR also expressed his view that any attempts to suppress regional parties would backfire, drawing parallels to the voters of Jharkhand, who had shown unwavering support for their regional leaders. He congratulated the victorious candidates, including JMM, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar. KTR concluded by accusing Revanth Reddy of misleading the people of Maharashtra with deceptive claims, while failing to implement promises in Telangana.
