BRS MLAs, MLCs, and other leaders, led by BRS working president KT Rama Rao, met with Governor Radhakrishnan today to lodge a complaint regarding defections and the Congress party’s failure to fulfill promises made to the unemployed. After the meeting, KT Rama Rao addressed the media.
“We have raised concerns with Governor Radhakrishnan about attacks on the Constitution in Telangana and other pressing issues. Our party MLAs and MLCs presented the matter to the Governor, particularly highlighting how the Congress party is neglecting the promises made to unemployed youth and students. We informed the Governor that there is a climate of fear due to detentions, suppression, arrests, and illegal cases against students advocating for these promises,” said KTR. “We also brought to his attention that the Congress government might again resort to oppressive measures, such as lathi-charging at the City Central Library and attacking students at Osmania University.”
“We conveyed to the Governor the unfulfilled promises of the Congress regarding 2 lakh jobs and the job calendar, including the increase of posts for Group 1, 2, and 3. The Governor responded seriously to these issues and assured us he would call the Home Secretary for details. Additionally, we reported that our party MLAs and MLCs are being expelled and coerced into joining the Congress.”
KTR emphasized that it is not only the Governor who is concerned with the unconstitutional actions of the Congress. “We will also lodge a complaint with the President. The BRS party stands with the unemployed youth of the state and will fight until all promises made to them are fulfilled,” he assured. He criticized the Congress for spreading false propaganda about Medigadda being washed away and the alleged loss of Rs 1 lakh crore in Kaleswaram, calling on them to hang their heads in shame.
“There was false propaganda about a minor issue there, which was resolved within a few days. Now, water is flowing like a flood, showcasing the strength of Kaleswaram. I will visit Medigadda soon to explain the facts to the people. The CM previously claimed that coaching centers would profit hundreds of crores if exams were postponed. Now that Group 2 exams have been postponed by four months, does it amount to Rs 400 crores? What is the CM’s share in this?” KTR questioned, criticizing the CM further.
