BJP Telangana President Kishan Reddy has issued an open letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, expressing dissatisfaction with the Congress government’s performance over the past 14 months. He accused the administration of failing to address key financial concerns, including pending DA arrears, GPF, and retirement benefits for employees, teachers, and pensioners. He questioned the rationale behind withholding these payments, stating that it has caused undue financial and mental distress.

Highlighting the imposition of ceilings on routine bill payments for government employees, Kishan Reddy termed it a disgrace and questioned the message being sent to honest workers. He also criticized the Chief Minister’s handling of educational institutions, describing his approach as unfair.

Kishan Reddy demanded the immediate release of all pending retirement benefits and the transfer of Rs 56,000 in unemployment allowance to each eligible youth. He insisted that these payments be made on a priority basis before the government seeks votes in the upcoming MLC elections, warning that employees, teachers, and pensioners would not be misled by false assurances.

He further alleged that the government has failed to clear fee reimbursement dues for years, leaving college managements in a dire financial situation. He condemned the repeated postponements of payments, stating that misleading assurances about clearing dues in April and May were unacceptable. Calling for immediate action, he urged the government to release Rs 7,500 crore in fee reimbursement funds to educational institutions without delay.
