Tirupati: Jana Sena Party (JSP) in-charge Kiran Royal has come under scrutiny following allegations of financial fraud involving a woman. In response, the party issued an official order on Sunday, distancing itself from him. Additionally, videos of Kiran Royal displaying Jagan 2.0 posters have gone viral on social media, further intensifying the controversy.
Kiran Royal Denies Allegations, Accuses YSRCP of Conspiracy
Addressing the media, Kiran Royal dismissed the allegations, claiming they were politically motivated. “YSRCP leaders attempted to ruin my life over the Jagan 2.0 poster. I stand by it and have no regrets. If YSRCP had focused on public issues instead of targeting me, they might have secured ten more seats in the elections. They turned a Rs 10 poster into ₹10 crore worth of publicity,” he stated.

He further alleged that YSRCP leaders manipulated the situation. “They used a woman for political gain. The Bhumana Karunakar Reddy family allegedly paid her Rs 25 lakh to frame me. After remaining in hiding for two years, she was brought forward by YSRCP and arrested through Jaipur police,” he claimed.
Legal Action and Party Response
Kiran Royal has announced his intention to file a Rs 3 crore defamation lawsuit against the woman. “She has multiple cases registered against her in different states. YSRCP is using women as political tools. The truth will prevail, and I will present my explanation to the party. Justice will be served in court,” he added.
Meanwhile, a woman named Lakshmi released a video, alleging that Kiran Royal took over Rs 1 crore in cash and 25 sovereigns of gold, leaving her in financial distress and prompting her to contemplate suicide. Following this, another video surfaced, purportedly showing Kiran Royal in close association with the woman. Protests erupted outside his residence, with demonstrators demanding his immediate arrest.
With the controversy escalating, the Jana Sena Party’s decision to distance itself from Kiran Royal has become a major political development.
