Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for threatening college managements instead of clearing pending fee reimbursement dues. Speaking to the media in Hanumakonda on Saturday as part of the ‘Jagruthi Janambat’ campaign across the unified Warangal district, Kavitha accused the CM of using “street rowdy” language and called his statements “shameful.”

Kavitha pointed out that during the unified state period, private investors had established degree and engineering colleges in Telangana after the government failed to set up institutions. She questioned whether the CM intends to punish those who provided education to students. Highlighting that only two colleges were named by the CM out of 1,800 in the state, she demanded an immediate apology and said it is unfair to target college managements while fee reimbursements are being provided to poor students.

She also criticized Revanth Reddy for failing to release promised funds to Warangal flood victims even after 15 days. Kavitha emphasized that Telangana Jagruthi will support college managements and continue to raise public issues across the district, taking citizens’ concerns directly to the government through the ‘Janambat’ campaign.
