The drills come at a time of uncertainty and heightened alertness along the border. The Government of India recently extended the ban on Pakistani aircraft entering Indian airspace until June 23. The IAF has also issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to alert personnel about the operation.
The exercise will take place close to India’s southern border with Pakistan, reflecting continued vigilance in sensitive air corridors.
