New Delhi: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday issued a strong warning to Pakistan, stating that any attempt to attack India will be met with a decisive and powerful response. Speaking at a public event, Singh said the Indian public is well aware of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and determination in handling national security.
He warned that those conspiring with China against India would face an “unexpected response,” adding that Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies are already on high alert due to the fear of Indian retaliation.

In a diplomatic setback for Islamabad, Singh pointed out that Pakistan is facing growing isolation within the Muslim world. Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates are distancing themselves from Pakistan and strengthening their relations with India due to strong trade partnerships. Saudi Arabia, in particular, has reportedly refused to offer unilateral support to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif made controversial remarks during an interview with ARY News, suggesting that the chances of clashes with the Indian Air Force have increased. He alleged that Indian Rafale fighter jets had recently attempted to breach Pakistani airspace but were blocked by the Pakistani military.
The exchange of strong words comes amid persistent tension between the two nuclear-armed nations, with India reiterating its commitment to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
