India reports first suspected case of Monkeypox, government responds

The central government has responded to the situation, stating that a person who recently arrived in India from Africa is showing symptoms suggestive of Monkeypox. The individual has been hospitalized for emergency treatment, and their condition is currently stable. Health officials mentioned that blood tests are being conducted to confirm whether the individual is infected with the virus. The government also assured that the individual is being tested according to protocol, and contact tracing is underway to identify the origins of the virus. The Ministry of Health has urged the public not to panic, advising them to remain calm while investigations continue.
