The ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, which was recently brokered with significant involvement from U.S. President Donald Trump, has sparked both praise and controversy. Trump took to social media to announce the agreement, claiming a crucial role in preventing a potential war between the two nations. He stated that he was proud of the decision taken by both countries to avoid conflict, which, according to him, would have led to devastation and the loss of innocent lives. Trump also expressed his commitment to working alongside both nations to address the long-standing Kashmir issue.

In response, the Indian military swiftly countered the attacks, highlighting the fragility of the ceasefire. Criticism has emerged as Trump has yet to address Pakistan’s breach of the truce, leading some to question his stance on the matter.
