Hyderabad: In a crackdown on illegal constructions, authorities deployed Hydra bulldozers in Almasguda, Maheshwaram constituency, Ranga Reddy district, to clear encroachments obstructing public roads.
Officials conducted an inspection in Boyapalli Enclave Colony and identified boundary walls constructed across key access roads, causing significant inconvenience to plot owners. Following complaints from residents, authorities took action on Thursday, demolishing structures that hindered movement.

The unauthorized wall, spanning 240 square yards, had blocked access to nearly half of the plots within the layout. Officials also reclaimed a designated park area that had been encroached upon. The demolition process led to heated exchanges between property owners and officials.
As tensions escalated, local police inspector Tirumalesh intervened to maintain order and lauded the efforts taken to resolve the issue. Authorities noted that the village panchayat had approved the layout in 1982, but layout owners had later obstructed three key roads. The latest intervention successfully removed these barriers, restoring connectivity for residents.
