Harish Rao, MLA and former minister, wrote a strong letter to Telangana’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, criticizing the Congress government for neglecting education.
He praised former CM KCR’s efforts to improve education in Telangana but accused the current government of letting schools suffer from issues like poor facilities, teacher shortages, lack of books, and delayed salaries. He criticized Reddy for focusing more on politics than on continuing previous educational reforms.
Harish Rao also demanded that pending salaries for mid-day meal helpers be paid promptly and that the state fill over 9,000 vacant teaching positions without delay.
